My top artists! Not a shocker..

This year, started off by listening to a lot of psychedelic, indie pop (is that what its called? not sure :p) which is very much what The Marias embody through their dream pop sound. After seeing them in concert I think I was on a roll with constantly playing their ethereal songs during that weird transition from winter to spring. I also found myself listening to The Sundays which have remained a constant favorite with their jangle pop/rock songs which are equally just as dreamy. Fast forward to summer, Japanese Breakfast was at the top of my streams with their bright tracks from their newest album Jubilee. Going to their summer concert kept their dancey (and awesome) songs at the top of my playlist up until the temperature dropped and somehow it’s like clockwork, I always end the year with rock and different kinds of alternative including alternative metal. Paramore has wrapped up this year as I (here comes the shocker!) also went to their concert and realized how much I wish I could go back in time to 2010 and listen to all my favorite ‘emo’ songs. XD Overall pretty good year! (Also just realized its an all-female/frontwoman line-up, as it should be!)
